Tale of Two Cultures
A MiraCosta Curatorial Collective
A Tale of Two Cultures: Stories Behind Pennsylvania Dutch and African Artisanal Objects in the Miller Collection opened at MiraCosta's Kruglak Gallery. This exhibition marks the first Hatoff Tapestries Grant-supported collaboration between Lynne Miller and Leah Cluff. Art 271 Museum Studies students developed, researched, curated, publicized, and installed this exhibition displaying objects of material culture loaned by Dr. Sheryl Miller, Lynne Miller's mother.
A Tale of Two Cultures opened on Wednesday, May 4th, and will be on view through Tuesday, May 17th. We will be holding a closing reception on May 17th from 2:00 - 3:30 pm. Please come by the gallery to view the exhibit and join us for the closing reception. |
Spring 2020
